West Jet Travel Secrets!

I am a huge West Jet fan and always choose them as my preferred airline when travelling not only to Mexico but also to all other destinations they provide flights to.

As a seasoned West Jetter I have some useful travel tips and secrets to share with you.

Firstly West Jet have a rewards programme which is well worth signing up for. There are frequent seat sales about once a month and blue tag sales each Thursday afternoon.

West Jet remains in my opinion the friendliest airline in Canada and the U.S..In addition direct flights to destinations such as Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas make for a stress free travel experience avoiding the unpleasantness of airports like Phoenix and Houston.

The flying time from Calgary to Puerto Vallarta is only 4 hours and 40 mins and generally the departure times at both ends are at a civilized hour. My last flight from Calgary was on the 8 th September and was notable for the exceptional in cabin attention. Josie you rock! But this is something one considers normal with West Jet .

If you are travelling with a small pets, flights will be accommodated for just over 50 dollars per pet space permitting. The best place to buy your kennel is at the West Jet Store located at the West Jet Hub on 22 Ariel Place NE Calgary T2E 3J1. It is a bit of a hike to get there but well worth the effort and is a great shopping experience when looking for travel goods and good quality souvenirs. It is open Monday through Friday 10.00 to 17.00 and I would encourage West Jetters to visit as discounts are available for West Jet clients.

More good news – if you visit www.WestJet.com home page there is a fall West Jet competition with great prizes and I would encourage all of you intrepid travellers to take a peek as there are really great Prizes to be won.

Happy holidays one and all!
